Thoughts on life's changes

I'm slowly saying goodbye to the morning routines that have saved me these last months, as school holidays approach. It's a bittersweet farewell, one that says life is made of changes and readaptation, losses and gains. My daughter is saying goodbye to kindergarten and getting ready to fly to a new stage, a new adventure, full of things to learn and conquer, with excitement and growth. But it brings the loss of a place to thrive as an individual person, still free, happy and innocent. We both feel this duality, as we're both still learning how to accept impermanence of life and the passage of time...
