Cada vez que recebo um pedido para reparar e personalizar uma peça de roupa danificada, fico com um pouco mais de esperança de estarmos no bom caminho enquanto Humanidade, embora saiba que ainda somos uma imensa minoria. É que cada pessoa que ouse usar uma peça remendada nesta sociedade consumista e descartável irá, sem dúvida, deixar uma marca e uma mensagem de que há alternativas (ainda mais giras) a deitar fora e comprar de novo!
Esta camisola pertence a uma menina pequenina, é de grande qualidade e foi usada muito poucas vezes até, por azar, se ter rasgado. Seria uma pena não ser aproveitada até deixar de lhe servir.
Comecei por fazer um remendo para reforçar aquela área, e depois disfarcei-o com pequenas flores coloridas, em círculo. O resultado foi uma camisola como nova, ainda mais bonita!

Every time I receive a request to repair and customize a damaged piece of clothing, I feel a little more hopeful that we are on the right path as Humanity, although I know that we are still a very small minority. It's just that every person who dares to wear a mended garment in this consumerist and disposable society will, undoubtedly, leave a mark and a message that there are (even cuter) alternatives to throw away and buy again!
This sweater belongs to a little girl, it is of great quality and was worn very few times until, unfortunately, it tore. It would be a pity not to use it until it no longer fits its owner.
I started by darning the hole to reinforce that area, and then I disguised it with small coloured flowers, in a circle. The result was a shirt that looks like new and even more beautiful!
