Adoro visitar ateliers de outros criadores, é um exercício verdadeiramente inspirador! Estes então, são irresistíveis!
Depois de ter passado anos a costurar no quarto, ou na sala, agora tenho a sorte de ter uma divisão que dedico exclusivamente ao meu trabalho para o Mundo Flo. Isso permite-me ter tudo o que preciso à mão, deixar os materiais desarrumados de um dia para o outro, ter o ambiente que necessito para criar e poder escolher a decoração mais inspiradora possível, totalmente ao meu gosto! Mas nada disto seria possível sem soluções para arrumação. Pessoalmente prefiro os espaços livres de confusão, com aspecto clean e muita luz. Demasiada "tralha" à vista deixa-me nervosa e distrai-me. Por isso não foi fácil decidir, e só agora consegui ter o atelier mais funcional. Basicamente comprei mais algumas estantes iguais às que já tinha, pois não queria que sobressaíssem muito, na versão mais baixa, para ter um espaço para dispôr objectos, ter o computador e a máquina de costura quando não está a ser precisa. O módulo de gavetas foi uma decisão de última hora de que não me arrependo, serve para arrumar as lãs, as fitas e galões e também os papéis! Muito útil! Ainda podia ter mais uma ou duas estantes, mas fica para uma próxima visita ao Ikea. Agora há que decorar aos poucos, de preferência com produtos feitos à mão!

I love visiting other artists workspaces, which I find to be a truly inspiring exercise! These ones are particularly irresistible!
After having spent years sewing in my bedroom, or in the livingroom, now I am lucky to have a division dedicated exclusively to my work for Mundo Flo. This allows me to be surrounded by everything I need, leave the mess from one day to another, get the environment I need to create and choose the most inspiring decoration possible, at my own taste! But nothing of this would be possible without good storage solutions. Personally I prefer opened and clean spaces free of clutter. Too much stuff in sight makes me nervous and distractes me. It was therefore not easy to decide, and only now I have managed to get the studio more functional. Basically I got some new shelves, just like those I already had to keep them from popping out too much, in a shorter version, so I could get some space to display objects and have my laptop and sewing machine, when I'm not using them. The drawer unit was a last time decision which I don't regret at all, it became a great solution to store all my yarn, ribbons and paper! I could still use another shelve, but I must leave it for the next visit to Ikea. Now, all I have to do is go decorating slowly, preferably with handmade items!
