Bordei este quadro durante as minhas férias, num jardim rodeado de hortênsias, das quais usei uma folha para a impressão central, a azul. A base é o meu linho favorito, em cor natural e com uma textura bem rústica. As flores são uma mistura de técnicas, desde a estampagem com carimbos, ao stencil, pintura à mão, e bordado a fio de algodão. O bastidor de madeira tem 16 cm de diâmetro, e serve como moldura (curiosidade: eu não uso bastidor enquanto bordo).

I have embroidered this hoop on my vacations, in a garden full of hydrangeas, from which I have used a lead for the central print, in blue. The background is my favourite linen, in natural colour and with a beautiful rustic texture. The flowers are made with a combination of techniques, from stamping to stencil printing, to hand painting, to embroidering with cotton floss. The wooden hoop is 16 cm diameter, and it serves as a frame (curiosity: I don't embroider with hoop).
