Esta foi uma das peças de roupa que mais gostei de remendar, um lindo macacão feito à mão e já cheio de detalhes deliciosos, com um rasgão grande na parte de baixo das costas, e um buraco mais pequeno na parte de cima. Também tinha algumas zonas já danificadas e um cordão em falta num dos bolsos. Reforcei os rasgões com pedaços de linho vermelho, onde bordei flores e ponto de cruz, inspirada nos padrões florais e geométricos do macacão e também dos sapatos que com ele fazem conjunto. Remendei as zonas mais fragilizadas para prevenir que se estraguem tão depressa, e substituí os cordões dos bolsos por fio de couro.

This was one of the things I enjoyed mending the most. It was a beautiful handmade romper already full of interesting details, with a major rip at the back bottom, and a small hole at the back center. It also had some areas that were already opening and a missing cord in one of the pockets. I reinforced the rips with a red linen, and embroidered some florals and cross stitch on it, inspired by the flowers and geometric patterns of the romper and also their matching shoes. Also mended the weaker areas to prevent them from opening, and replaced the pocket cords with leather threads.
