Tricotei esta camisola durante os últimos 10 meses (porque continuo a tricotar muuuito lentamente), durante as viagens de carro, as aulas de natação da Nina e algumas manhãs de fim-de-semana. Foi o meu primeiro projecto com uma lã tão fina e, embora tivesse pensado que me ia custar, a verdade é que se tornou viciante, e agora mal posso esperar para continuar a usar lãs e agulhas do mesmo calibre. O fio que escolhi foi o Alvor, da Rosários 4, que é uma mistura de linho e lã, muito agradável de trabalhar e perfeito para a Primavera. O design é a Boxy Sweater, da Joji Locatelli, que foi amor à primeira vista, pela forma incrível como assenta no corpo, ao mesmo tempo que é um modelo espaçoso e confortável de usar. Alterei um pouco o original, para ter mangas mais compridas, e sei que tem vários erros aqui e ali, pois ainda estou a aprender (e prefiro ver a minha filha nadar do que olhar para o trabalho 😆), mas ficou suficientemente bem para ser vestida e é mais um passo no sentido de realizar o meu sonho de ter um roupeiro totalmente feito à mão 💛.

I knitted this sweater in the last 10 months (because... still... sloooow), during car trips, Nina's swimming lessons and some weekend mornings. It was my first project with such a thin yarn, and though I thought I would struggle with that, it became quite addictive, and now I can't wait to keep working with similar threads and needles. I used Alvor, by Rosários 4, which is a mix of linen and wool, very pleasant to work with, and perfect for spring. The pattern is Boxy by Joji Locatelli, which was love at first sight, as it fits so well, but with so much space to be the most comfortable and flattering sweater you can have. I changed it a bit, in order to have long sleeves instead of 3/4, and I know it's full of little mistakes here and there, as I'm still learning (and like to watch my kid swimming instead of looking at my needles 😆), but it's wearable and another step towards my dream of having a wardrobe that is fully handmade 💛.
