O Verão tarda, mas Junho trouxe-me o ritmo estival de muitos eventos e colaborações. Festivais como A Porta, a Versátil, colaborações criativas que me encheram o coração, como o Projecto Artis Natura e as Cartografias Têxteis, o maravilhoso Knit With Friends, que me permitiu um breve salto ao Porto com a minha amiga Ângela e onde finalmente conheci pessoalmente a querida Judit Gummlich, depois de vários anos de amizade virtual, e pude conversar com tantas outras pessoas do mundo das lãs... Pelo meio, despedimo-nos de mais um ano lectivo que foi longo e cansativo, celebrámos o aniversário da minha mãe e apanhámos um susto valente com o sr. Linho, que felizmente terminou bem.
Com tanto que fazer, o mês passou e mal dei por isso! Enquanto o Verão não chega, e a praia parece distante, espero que Julho me traga algum enraizamento e calma para me situar nesta estação tão estranha, e possa pôr em prática algumas ideias que têm ficado na gaveta por falta de tempo.

Summer is late, but June brought me the rhythm of many events and collaborations. Festivals like A Porta, Versátil, creative collaborations that filled my heart, such as Artis Natura Project and Textile Cartographies, the beautiful Knit With Friends, that allowed me a quick trip to Oporto with my friend Ângela, where I could finally meet dear Judit Gummlich in person, after several years of virtual friendship, and where I was able to talk to so many other people from the wool world... In the meatime, we said goodbye to another long and tiring school year, we celebrated my mother's birthday and had a great scare with Mr. Linho, which fortunately ended up well.
With so much to do, this month passed and I barely noticed! While summer doesn't arrive, and the beach seems a distant dream, I'm hoping July brings me some grounding and calm to situate myself in this strange season, and allows me to put into practice some ideas that have been left in the drawer due to lack of time.
