Esta mochila de bebé foi uma encomenda personalizada para uma futura mãe do Colorado, que me pediu uma mochila com um cavalo, montanhas e flores selvagens. Ela pediu também que tivesse tons neutros, para ambos os pais poderem usar e também por ainda não saber o sexo do bebé. O resultado foi este.
As encomendas personalizadas são aquelas em que arrisco mais, em que coloco muito de mim em conjunto com os pedidos dos clientes. É sempre uma grande expectativa até que a peça chegue ao destino: para o lado de lá é normalmente surpresa, para o lado de cá é a espera de saber se fui ao encontro do que desejavam. Quando o feedback é este, o dia está ganho :)

This baby backpack was a custom order for a mother-to-be from Colorado, who asked me for a backpack with a horse, mountains and wildflowers. She asked for neutral shades as well, so both parents could wear the backpack, and also because she didn't know the baby's sex yet. This is the result.
Custom orders are those where I take more risks, where I put so much of myself together with the customer's requests. There's always great suspense involved until the item reaches its destination: for the other side it is usually a surprise, for my side it's waiting to know if I met their expectations. And then feedbacks like this just make my day :)
