Photoshoot: Florindas

Adoro fotografar o meu trabalho, mas também o de outros criadores, especialmente quando as peças são bonitas e me surpreendem. Este foi o meu mais recente desafio, uma sessão fotográfica com as Florindas, as lindas bonecas em forma de flor da Avó Fuxica. Cada boneca é única no seu feitio, nos seus detalhes, nome (começado por uma letra do alfabeto, e por isso as Florindas são uma série limitada e ainda em construção), e história que tem para contar. As Florindas são ainda mais bonitas ao vivo, e transmitem uma grande alegria, talvez pela sua expressão simpática, pelas cores e pelos pormenores que espelham o carinho e o cuidado com que foram feitas. Foi um prazer fotografá-las, e este é o resultado.

I love shooting my own work, but also the one by other artists, specially when it's beautiful and surprising. This was my latest challenge: a shoot of Florindas, lovely flower shaped dolls by Avó Fuxica. Each doll is one-of-a-kind by its shape, details, its name (they all start by a different letter and so Florindas are a limited series and still in progress), and the story it tells. The dolls are even prettier live, and carry a lot of happiness, maybe because of their cute expression, the colors and the small details that reflect the care and love from which they were made. It was a delight shooting them, and this is the result.
