Entre encomendas personalizadas e presentes, estes foram alguns dos trabalhos que fiz nos últimos tempos:

- A propósito do 50º aniversário de casamento dos meus pais, fiz uma árvore genealógica em conjunto com o meu irmão, algo especial e simbólico do seu amor e da nossa família. O meu irmão fez as peças da madeira que constituem as folhas da árvore, e eu cosi-as ao fundo de linho, bordei o tronco e os passarinhos com os nossos nomes.

Between custom orders and gifts, these were some of the projects I've done lately:

- On the occasion of my parents' 50th wedding anniversary, I made a family tree together with my brother, something special and symbolic of their love and our family. My brother made the wooden pieces that make up the leaves of the tree, and I stitched them to the linen background, embroidered the trunk and the birds with our names.

Um Xarabaneco quentinho para o quarto de um recém nascido, com um detalhe muito personalizado: os olhos são botões que pertenceram à bisavó do bebé, que era uma pessoa muito importante para a família. Este foi um exemplo da aplicação do meu Re-Treasure Project, em que incorporei um pedaço da história do cliente na peça, dando-lhe uma nova função.

A warm Xarabaneco for a newborn's room, with a very personalized detail: the eyes of the doll are buttons that belonged to the baby's great grandmother, who was a very important person for the family. This was an example of my Re-Treasure Project application, in which I incorporated a piece of the client's story into the piece, giving it a new meaning.

Um sol colorido e cheio de texturas para um menino pequeno. Esta peça foi especialmente importante para mim, pois trouxe-me conforto e alegria, pela inocência da infância que representa, em dias particularmente difíceis. Porque este trabalho é também por vezes a minha terapia.

A colorful and textured sun for a little boy. This piece was especially important to me, as it brought me comfort and joy, through the innocence of childhood it represents, on particularly difficult days. Because sometimes this work is also my therapy.
