Chamo-lhes paisagens emocionais, algumas são lugares reais que tiverem um impacto especial em mim, outras existem apenas na minha imaginação. Têm um efeito regulador, como se fizessem parte de um lugar interno de força e, por isso, recorro com frequência a elas, às minhas paisagens emocionais.
Tenho andado a tentar transpô-las para o tecido, e decidi fazer algumas capas de livro com elas, porque são dotadas de uma vida própria, que vai para além dos livros que encerram. Acompanham-nos para todo o lado, guardam mundos infinitos, por vezes até escondem o que andamos a ler, como se fosse um segredo só nosso, incentivam-nos a escrever, a desenhar, a sonhar. Não é novidade que são dos objectos que mais gosto de fazer. Estas vieram directamente da minha alma, espero que gostem!

I call them emotional landscapes, some are real places that had a special impact on me, others exist only in my imagination. They have a regulating effect, as if they were part of an internal place of strength and, therefore, I often resort to them, to my emotional landscapes.
I have been trying to transpose them onto fabric, and I decided to make some book covers with them, as these objects have a life of their own, that goes far beyond the books they contain. They go with us everywhere, they guard infinite worlds, sometimes they even hide what we are reading, as if it were our own secret, they encourage us to write, to draw, to dream. It's not new that book covers are some of my favorite things to create. These came directly from my soul, hope you like them!
