Voltei a fazê-lo! Dei uma 3ª vida a uma das minhas mochilas!
Esta foi feita pela primeira vez em 2021 para um amigo (2ª foto) e passou por muito uso, histórias, passeios na praia e uma vida bem vivida. As cores desbotaram (numa bela patina, na minha opinião) e o tecido acabou por rasgar. Remendei-a como pude (3ª foto), mas no fim teve mesmo de encerrar um ciclo.
E assim nasceu uma 3ª versão... desta vez corri mais riscos, segui a minha intuição e fui mais criativa com o bordado. A versão nº 3 manteve o bolso externo original, assim como o forro e algum do tecido do corpo principal foi virado do avesso (daí os dois tons de verde). Também mantive as porções remendadas que se tornaram meramente decorativas.
Estou muito feliz com o resultado!

I did it again! Gave a 3rd life to one of my backpacks!
This one was first made in 2021 for a friend (2nd photo), and it went through a lot of use, stories, beach walks and lived life. Colors faded (into a beautiful patina in my opinion) and the fabric ended up tearing. I mended it (3rd photo) but eventually it needed to end a cycle.
And so a third version was born, I took more risks this time, followed my intuition and got more creative with the embroidery.
Version nr. 3 kept the original external pocket, as well as the lining and some of the body fabric which I turned inside out (hence the two tones of green). I also kept the mended portions which are now purely decorative.
I'm very happy with how it turned out!
